Land Layout
Cummins Contracting offers a complete service for your irrigation development requirements. We can do all of your discing, laser grading, channel forming and excavator work, with our modern plant and experienced operators. This way farmers only have to deal with the one company for all their land layout and gypsum needs. Our company is not new to laser grading as we have been involved in the industry since 1980, when we purchased our first laser and grader.
Laser grading
Our laser grader and tractor combination is ideal for small irrigation developments and re-grades. With our MF 8470 290 HP Vario Tractor and 3.5 metre Laser Grader, we are able to easily access paddocks without the need to cut fences and fill in channels.
Our LaserScraper 3.5 has a 7.5 cubic metre capacity, and is equiped with rippers, apron and cross levelling.
Discing
An important part of our laser grading equipment is our Ennor 56 plate swing wing disc. With a cutting width of 6.2 metres we can plough in excess of 5 hectares an hour. We also use this disc for contract discing operations, and we are very competitive on price.
Road Grader
Our new CLG416 Luigong Road Grader is powered by a 5.9 litre Cummins Motor, which develops 127kw (170hp), and is equiped with a 3.96 metre (13'6") blade.
Our Luigong Road Grader it fitted with a Leica GradeSmart Control System. This system incorporates automatic blade leveling and laser control, which dramatically increases the efficiency and precision of the machine, and takes all the guess work out of the operation.
Excavating
We have owned and operated excavators since 1985. Our current excavator is a Daewoo LCV 220, 20 tonne excavator.
The Daewoo is laser equiped, and we have experienced operators.
